We have found the best way to keep the Estrela pure in this country is to educate the judges on a correct Estrela. We do 4 or 5 shows a year, handing out a standard and history to all the judges we show under. We also work with the local dog club here and help give canine safety demos to schools, camps, and clubs. A few of our dogs have passed the Canine Good Citizen test and even the Therapy Dog International Test!
