Welcome!

At TrailsEnd farm we believe in the preservation of rare and heritage breeds. We are located in beautiful North Carolina. The base of our farm is our Estrela Mountain Dogs. We have been working with this breed, over the last several years to import the best to continue our breeding program of this rustic breed. We are very proud of our imports. We believe that true type and temperament are very important today.

Our puppies undergo an extensive socialization. When we say we are breeding the Estrela, we mean it with years, dogs and experience behind us.  Ask us about our puppy yard!  Ask us for references!

TrailsEnd dogs are trained at Einstein Canine Training and Activity Center!

Please enjoy our site and come back often to check for updates and new pictures of life, here at TrailsEnd!

New Site

~Forgive our Mess~

TrailsEnd is under construction.  In May the server was hacked by a turkish hacker.  Many sites were corrupted.  TrailsEnd was one of them.  Many things were 'broke' or corrupt, many changes needed to be made.  It was an easy decision to 'upgrade' to a fresh new look.  While we will miss our old site, we are having fun setting up the new one.  I hope you enjoy it.  The Gallery will be back soon, in all its glory.

Thank you for your patience.

***Attn Puppy Owners, if you would like to check your puppies album for wrong pictures, that would be great!  Just email me the wrong picture # and I will move it. I am slowly working my way through each and every album but with 1700 pics it takes some time.  So any help is appreciated.***

*** Attn friends, we have lost all of our links!  If you had a link on TE, please send me an email so I can correctly get you linked again***

Breeding Plans

Our next litter will be bred in the fall.  Pinta by TrailsEnd will be bred to Dourado or Dennis.  This litter will be Pinta's one and only litter.  Reservations are limited!  Check out the gallery for their pictures. Contact us for more information.
